Uniqlo on 5th
Uniqlo has amazed me, once again. Their ad campaign for the opening of both 5th and herald sq stores goes straight to my heart.
And I’m happy for a Japanese firm is getting so much attention and success, not yet another European or American company.
What I love about Uniqlo is its simplicity. Bright colors, simple clothes and perfect fits. The real chic has to be discreet and subtle. Style speaks for itself. You can pile up all the fancy label clothes and designer garments you want, nothing will beat a sleek, pure look.
Money can buy you ritzy things, but it can’t buy you a good sense of style. Unfortunately too many blogs and bloggers are all about labels. Any blog post with #LouisVuitton guarantees a good number of reblogs.

Givenchy S/S 2012.
I’m not gonna pretend I’m a fashion savvy of any sort. But for once, I’m gonna have a word.
Riccardo is doing a great job at Givenchy. The last ready-to-wear collection is fresh, a spring-summer classic. Nothing too daring, but very enjoyable nonetheless. It is a total contrast to the intense artwork on the couture collection.
I gotta say, the couture collection takes me to a whole higher level than the rtw.
